Greetings,

to all our dear friends and supporters from Kym & Faye at Jacob’s Well Retreat! Our God is awesome and always working for the good of His people. We have been amazed at the connections and opportunities He has provided for us over the past 12 months. Too many to mention them all but some of the more significant include attending a “Kickstart” weekend with Torben Sondergaard and The Last Reformation team, a weekend with Neil Gamble from Father’s Hand Ministries, USA, Easter at Jacob’s Well Retreat with Sr Loata and Fijians friends, and enjoying the ongoing friendship and teaching of Rangi Rule from Adelaide.

AWAKENING AUSTRALIA

Wow, what an amazing weekend we recently experienced at the “Awakening Australia” Event held in Melbourne’s Marvel (formerly Etihad) Stadium from the 16^th – 18^th Nov. Over 15,000 people attended each day and were challenged and inspired to by speakers including Nick Vujicic, Heidi Baker, Daniel Kolenda, Phil Pringle, Todd White, Bill Johnson and organisers Ben Fitzgerald and Daniel Hagen.

The gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, was given and hundreds responded by giving their lives to Christ. Believers were challenged to share the gospel as Jesus commanded us to do. Jesus Said, “Signs and wonders will follow those who believe,” so we are challenged to pray for healings, miracles and deliverance. These are the greatest evangelism tools we can use.

JACOB’S WELL RETREAT UPDATE

We are thankful for God’s provision of our new laundry. It’s very close to completion, a few more jobs & it will be done. It will be a great service we can offer our guests and will make our laundry days that much easier. We appreciate the amazing help we’ve had from Ron Jackson as well as Jolliffe Kingdon, and Cathy Yard.

Breaking Down The Walls – December 7^th & 8^th

This initiative is inspired by the fact that it is God Himself, by the power of the Holy Spirit that brings revival!

Also inspired by the AWAKENING AUSTRALIA gathering, our heart is for us to come together as one under Christ, to pray for our region and our nation, to take back

AUSTRALIA FOR JESUS!

We’ve planned a series of 2-hour time slots for prayer, worship and testimonies:

Friday 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Saturday 9 -11am & 7.30 – 9.30

The three meetings are designed to allow people to participate where they are able.

There is no cost. Free Accommodation is available to those who need it and we encourage people to use it.

Meals on Saturday 8^th Dec:

Breakfast – BYO

Lunch – Shared BBQ, please bring meat & salad to share.

Dinner – You are free to make use of Cobb & Co Café, Murrayville Hotel or BYO

Full Kitchen, BBQ and Dining Room facilities are available to use here on site at Jacob’s Well Retreat.

VOLUNTEERS – VERY WELCOME!

On a local basis – We would appreciate help with cleaning the Chapel, operating the Sound & Data Projector Operations at church and other events, serving a cuppa after church and cleaning up on Sundays.

For the bigger vision – Any trade skills would always be welcome and there are plenty of jobs for the handy men & women.

Jobs include: Gardening, painting, ongoing building projects, Curtain making, fencing and more.

We are happy to supply accommodation and food for anyone wishing to stay a while in a volunteer capacity.
